Frequently Asked Questions (for Teen Camp)
Who can come?
Alive Camp is for anyone in grades 7-12. This includes those going into 7th grade as of Fall 2024 as well as 2024 high school graduates.
Is this an overnight camp?
Yes, but campers can be picked up and dropped off each day if desired. The camp program will run from 9am-9pm. Those who choose not to stay overnight will only be missing breakfast and bedtime devotions.
Where will we stay?
Guys and girls will stay in separate locations and have access to separate bathroom and shower facilities. Exact details of accommodations differ depending on the week/location. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
What kind of activities will there be?
The great thing about Alive Camp is that it is a fantastic mix of traditional summer camp and music and drama camp. In addition to the hands-on training and rehearsal times each day, campers will also:
- Attend chapels where they will hear helpful Bible messages
- Enjoy multiple game blocks which provide an opportunity for exciting team competition that continues through the entire week
- Other activities vary by location
What do we bring?
You will want to make sure to bring a Bible, paper, pen, a sleeping bag (or bed linens), a pillow, a warm sweater or jacket, all necessary toiletries, sports clothes for activities, and a large bag for dirty clothes.
The Alive Camp Store will be open during registration. Campers are welcome to bring some spending money to purchase these souvenir items.
Please DO NOT bring cell phones, media players, computers, video games, explosives, guns, knives, tobacco, drugs, alcohol, or any apparel or other items with offensive or worldly advertising. If cell phones are brought they will be kept by the camp leadership and used only in the case of an emergency.
What do we wear?
Camper’s clothing must be loose-fitting and cover from the top of the shoulders to the top of the knee.
Campers will be fitted for their own costume for the production but should bring an all black outfit to be worn beneath their costume during the show.

Testimonials
This camp has really taught me how no part is too small, which I have applied to my faith. There are no insignificant Christians. To God we all matter! Just like in the plays we perform, we all add to the end result. We have the choice if we take on our given role and make it something great.
Several things have made an impact on my life: seeing the Bible stories through the characters that we play, the abilities we learn to use at camp for God and His glory, and that God can use anyone, anytime, and anywhere.
At first I was a little nervous about acting – seeing as I never really acted before, but I found that I really enjoyed performing with the help of an amazing crew. There’s just something about bringing a play together with people who love God and love doing the same things you do, and all while growing closer to Him. The crew truly becomes a second family by the end of the week.
